Antique Whitby Jet Brooch ” The Rose”

An attractive antique Whitby Jet brooch displaying a beautifully carved rose and foliage on the central panel and surround of facetted Whitby jet. The brooch pin is in good working condition and mounted so that the brooch is worn in a landscape orientation.

The brooch measures approx 45mm x 40mm with a depth of approx 20mm at the thickest point. Overall this piece is in very good condition.
