Mirror, Mirror Drop Earrings

These sterling silver drop earrings remind me of little hand-mirrors. Whitby jet has the ability to be polished to a mirror-like lustre and as a result can form a perfect mirror surface. Whitby jet also has a long association with divination making these the perfect ‘smoking mirrors’. The drop is 40mm from the top of the ear wires. The Whitby jet cabochon measures 10x7mm.
