Antique Whitby Jet brooch “lady in drop earrings”

A great example of a Whitby Jet classical cameo depicting a lady with beautiful hair wearing long drop earrings. The low price reflects the fact that this brooch started life as a bracelet cameo panel which has been converted historically to a brooch. There is also a small chip visible on the mount but it doesn’t detract from the wearability of this piece. The catch is in good working order. It measures 46x40mm.
