Housed in a  stunning characterful C17th building in the very heart of Whitby’s traditional Jet working district, we are able to continue the long and proud tradition of Whitby Jet working right here on the Yorkshire Coast. If visiting us in person then you will more than likely have the unique experience of buying directly from the person that actually made your jewellery. You’ll find us here.  Whether you buy from us in person or from right here through our online shop  you will have the  assurance that each item of jewellery we create contains a unique piece of guaranteed Whitby Jet. Our certified gem material is collected over an eight-mile stretch of coastline on our beautiful Whitby beaches. We are no longer permitted to mine jet from the surrounding geology, not only is it a dangerous occupation but also damaging environmentally to our heritage coastline.
